Sooam Biotech Research Foundation was established in July, 2006 with the purpose of training professionals and developing advanced techniques in bio-engineering, the largest field of growth in the 21st century. SBRF is a non-profit organization of public interest that aims for the welfare of mankind.

Centered around Doctor Hwang Woo Suk, Sooam’s talented researchers exploit the endless possibilities of animal cloning, transgenic research, and patient-specific embryonic stem cells. We also deliver transgenic animal disease models to establish a firm base for further therapeutic applications in research and pharmaceutics.

Until the day human welfare reaches its destined goal, Sooam researchers will continue to strive to become the largest contributor of human health and prosperity.
